Book sale

February 20th, 2007 from 11AM to 3PM, used book sale to raise funds for EDF.

Theo, generously offered her entire day and was our cashier. She represented AAUW in spirit, in work, and in her T-shirt :-)

We worked in shifts or 30 minutes to 1 hour, each according to our affordable free time.
The vendors in apparition order :-)

Theo Thonkinson - cashier

Annie Valk & Zsuzsanna Szabo (transporters and picture taking)

Susan Breck & Laurie Puchner

Terri Poirier & Cathy Santanello

Susan Hume & Sharon Jenkins

In the morning we had couple of browsers.... children's books, cook books, novels, travel, coffee table books, CDs, and audio tapes, couple of videos and old records...

The lunch hours brought more people to our large offer....

The children books seem to be welcomed... however, not so many novels sold...

By 3:30PM when we were packing we are left with some good boxes of books... being still half way from our goal for EDF funds..... we decide to have one more sale in March!

Definitely we come along as a great AAUW SIUE branch!!!
